Terrible indeed. As of right now, local authorities have confirmed 2 people dead and over 23 people admitted to local hospitals. Hopefully those numbers do not climb. Let's keep all those affected in our thoughts and prayers at this time.
God Bless,

My oldest niece, Emily, was at the finish line just hours ago, with her boyfriend. She has let us all know she's ok, but my brother (her dad) is shaken. I texted him, and his spelling was terrible.

Just because you are paranoid doesn't mean they aren't out to get you.

This is so sad at what should be a happy public event divorced from politics and where the city is hosting people from all around the world. I pray the casualties don't increase further.

My family is safe, as we watched the marathon from the video device. Over one hundred have been injured and two are dead, including an eight year old boy. Bostonians have for 117 years welcomed people from around the world to our city for this annual event. Unfortunately, this is not the hospitality that we like to convey. Our prayers are with the victims and their families. Most of the citizens of Boston will be together in supporting and assisting all affected.
