Almost finished "The Wind Through The Keyhole" by Stephen King, a little addendum to his "Gunslinger" series - which I think is brilliant by the way. I bet Roland wears a kilt! ;)

Currently digging into my just-arrived copy of ADVANCE: The Guide For Conducting A Protective Security Advance by David L. Johnson. I've been through it all before with Dave, Jake Ashton, Gale Ericksen and Mark Moore via ITG Consultants' executive/dignitary protection agent training course, and have applied this stuff extensively since then on a professional basis. But the book is new, and I'm sure it will be a great reference to keep around.

I just finished "On the Map" by Simon Garfield- a fantastic history of the map and reflections on how the map changes how WE see our world.

Also digging through several antique books on classic engraving techniques, but that's less 'reading' and more 'researching'.

Half way through the third book for the "Fire and Ice" (Game of Thrones) series. Reading some Mark Twain between these books for something different. Want to get started on the Dresden Files series of books.

Yeah, (though I did just finish The Wind in the Willows,) but now you've got me looking for a copy of The Dark Tower: The Gunslinger. The only book of his I'd read previously was The Stand.

***! Stephen King is sometimes mistaken for a pulp horror writer, but he is a sublime storyteller and the Gunslinger opus is his best.
