    I have of knowledge about shoes (I own 35 or 4O of quality shoes, John Lobb, Edward Green, Crockett and Jones, Berluti ans so on) and I had to say your conversion is very nice :-) Also, I like the idea of the speciale removable to be fitted onto ordinary lace-up brogues... My wife being a shoemaker, perhaps she will make a pair of "made to mesure" buckle shoes for me when I have my kilt :-)
