    Thanks, Sailor.
I made the hose sometime last year. I had wanted a pair of diced hose, but not the standard factory-made colors, so I found the shade of blue that closely matches the blue stripe in the Carolina tartan, and knitted them with an undyed white wool yarn.

I too love the hose and kilt combination dbh. It does one of those "Not matching, but dang those go together really well" kind of things for me.

    Nice work!

    Wonderful

Marvellous picture of a beautiful spot. So much nicer than the indoor venue where I got married!

I asked the bride why she wanted to get married at the falls, and she said it was the destination for one of the first hikes that she and her now-husband had taken together. It was a 2nd wedding for both bride and groom, and their children (ages 15-23) were the wedding party. It was a very laid-back affair, with no stress or anxiety that I could see. The picture of me was taken after the wedding. I asked the photographer to get a shot of me, and stepped out onto a rock in the middle of the creek, where she shot the one I posted above.
If anyone is planning to come to the Grandfather Mountain Games this year, I'd be glad to take you to see this falls. It's about 45 minutes from Grandfather.

Here's the spot where I played. It's a great ganglin' big rock that I thought would be a good perch to keep me out of the way. As you can see, I'm good at playing D.
