Another use for a 5.11 TDK

After work last night, I had to go directly to a meeting at my church, and from there I went to an activity that I can't discuss due to a specific forum rule.

By the time I made it home, I was tired, so I dropped my Tactical Duty Kilt and boot socks on a chair, with the intent of washing them first thing this morning. By the time I was up and about and ready to wash them, they had been... occupied.

Oh well, she looks cuter in my kilt than I do.

Love it! I have to put my kilts on the pressing table or the back of a chair here. My apricot fawn pug is a proficient shedder and snuggler. I swear there are barbs on the hair ends when it is a dark kilt.

Pants is only a present tense verb here. I once panted, but it's all cool now.

Little Bit (the lovely feline lady in the photo) is likewise very proficient at the snuggling and shedding game. In this case, however, it was my fault; the chair in the photo is where she likes to sleep at night. Having a comfy kilt to nest in no doubt made it an even more attractive spot.

I keep my clean kilts on hangers, but I don't worry much about the TDKs when they're due for a wash; they're pretty durable. I do hand wash them with a "no residue" detergent to preserve the Teflon coating on the fabric, but they'd probably do just fine in a washer. Fortunately, a lint roller removed the kitty fur prior to the wash.
