Morrison kilt to stripe or sett?

I am thinking of a Morrison kilt in these two tartans, does anyone have a photo of theirs? Maybe to the red stripe or any other suggestions? I would just like to see some examples. Thank you

    Certainly to the red stripe.
Man! I am a sucker for weathered/reproduction colours.

It really is a matter of preference. I lean toward knife pleated to the sett and box pleated to the stripe. But there are certainly many who like knife pleated to the stripe. For either tartan I don't envision pleated to the stripe being particularly stunning as far as flash goes or particularly susceptible to the dreaded lawnchair effect. I guess what I am trying to say is I don't see an obvious wrong choice.

    Large Sett

If you are considering a custom weave look at Matt's large sett MacKay. The Morrison is the MacKay tartan with the additional red stripe. The large sett is quite striking.

I actually have a weathered green Morrison knife pleated to the sett, and a modern green Morrison box pleated to the red stripe. I can't say that I like either one better than the other.

If I had to pick it would be the weathered. Ive never been a fan of pleated to the set. One of the joys of kiltdom is the different look front & back.

I don't seem to have any with the pleats shown...I'll have to fix that problem.
