Scottish Societies and Clans of Victoria Highland Ball 2013

Friday 3 May, was the Annual Scottish Societies and Clans of Victoria Highland Ball. As usual it was a great night with plenty of music, food, drink and fun.
A couple of photos
Bob, Madge and myself. Bob and Madge are both 91 years of age and attend most of the Highland Games in Victoria throughout the year

Midway during the evening, the Williamstown RSL pipe band perform a 15-20min segment. Bear in mind this is a a town hall. The sound of the pipes and drums fill every void, it is magnificent.

Excellent pictures Mike, and very sharply attired if I may say so. Would that be the Caledonia tartan? Very striking.

Yes Chas, it's an unusal one. Robs jacket and waistcoat are not your usual PC variety. I think I have a pic of him in the jacket, I'll hunt through the lot tommorow and see what I have.

Chas, below is the only photo I have of Rob and his jacket /waistcoat on the night. He has told me where it came from, but as usual my mind is like a sieve at times. Perhaps this will spur him to finally register on the forum. (hint, hint Rob)

Fantastic! The image of both couples is brilliant...well put together, everyone.
Regarding evening dress for you (DK) and Rob (RTL), very well done.

The colors of the Chattan with bold Black & Red of the diced hose are awesome.
As for Rob, his Jacket / waistcoat is unique in an elegant, understated way.
Very, very cool.
