    Just uploaded pic of vest. Yes I know neckline has changed but decided it was better for use with cravat. Buttons may look copper but they are pewter.

    Right now my problem on the jacket is putting the arm into the shoulder (not such a problem on waistcoats)

    I have a few yards of worsted wool and a pattern for an Argyll jacket, but this is what is keeping me from starting work. I have never had any luck attaching sleeves to anything (though I admit my experience is limited to a pair of shirts)! Everyone says it should be pretty straightforward with a basic slipstitch, but I've still not had much success.

    Do you have any tips or tricks for others in the same boat?
