I'll be there.... I'm always there!

Been going since these Games were held in Santa Monica. My first time was around 1975.

(They were held in Santa Monica 1958-1976, then in Long Beach 1977-1980, before moving to Costa Mesa in 1981.)

We plan to be there -- based at Donnachaidh tent, if we need a gathering point.

Mike, you should consider the Vista Games as well -- not nearly as large as Costa Mesa, but a beautiful park setting. June 22/23 this year.

This will be our first so if it's fun (as I'm sure it will be), we'll be going to as many as we can, and hopefully making some new friends along the way.

Bumping this thread up as the event approaches! We will be there both days. My sister arranged for our late mother to be recognized during the Memorial Day "service recognition" ceremonies so of course we'll be in the stands for that. Otherwise wandering and periodically checking in at Donnachaidh tent.

I've had a PM exchange with one forum member about meeting up to show him basic knitting -- no formal arrangements unless somebody else wants to join in and make it a knitting circle! I'm working up the legs on the latest pair for Bob but we'll start with garters. . . easy but boring. . .
