Graham, I just logged on after being upto my eyes for the past days. I have just read your post and the subsequent ones with tears in my eyes. You and all your family are in my prayers tonight. I have been out off work with depression and stress now for 9 plus years. I know a little of the thoughts that Tabitha had. I too was at that point. With the Love of God and the Love of my wonderfull wife I have come through the bad years and now I'm entering the blessings. May those days of Blessing be with you soon.

Welcome Rigged you'll love this place it's full of the good guys.
Graham to raise a smile about the vagaries of daughters, in a fit of peak my daughter at 14 ran away from home leaving a heart rending message of how she would no longer be a problem to me or her brothers...
She ran all the way across the road to her friends and brought her washing home for me to do the next day
Cheers Rhino

That's a good one Rhino, we had a similar thing happen.
With five kids I guess we are sure to cover the full spectrum of kid problems.
On balance, we have an older daughter, Abigail. Her name means 'my fathers' joy', and she lives up to her name. Abi is a really well adjusted, caring girl who has never caused us anything but joy. She is studying for a career working with disabled people.
Daneel, I'm sorry to hear that you have your cross to bear also, come over here, I'll give you a job!! and you can wear a kilt while you work, I do!
Welcome Bill, thanks for coming and and sharing your thoughts.
and thanks all, things are healing well for us all, God is a great comfort in times of need.
