just want to share a few pics I took this afternoon at the British Day + Country Fair at Jagdschloß Darmstadt-Kranichstein just round my corner accompanied by my friend Jane, a fine violinist from Wales who plays in our orchestra.

Tom: Thank you for posting the pics. Nothing like a quick trip to Germany. That looks like a beautiful place to hold games despite the weather. Is that a real camel or two guys dressed up as one? Its back legs look like an old pair of Haggar slacks. I like your outfit, particularly your kilt and sporran.

Yes, it's an old hunting castle with a marvellous park.
In fact a perfect place....
No, it was a fake camel but very nosy and cheeky.
The two guys were a street theatre group from London.
Thanks for the compliments... I wanted to go in shirt and jacket but in fact it was too cold so I had to be a little more casual...
