Really nice David, I'm bordering on jealous ! . Hopefully, I'll be able to see it in person at Stone Mountain.

David, thanks for posting those photos. The kilt looks fantastic on you. You are well turned out, as always. Nice to see Lilian enjoying the games, as well.
    Cheers,
    Matt

Well done, David! You look very well turned out and your new kilt, courtesy of Matthew Newsome at New House Highland, is absolutely gorgeous. I loved seeing the photo of my good friend, Bruce Macpherson of London (UK), wearing his Macpherson kilt in the 'hunting' tartan and an enlarged sett. I am pleased that his style of kilt (amongst the other fine examples) with the quite stunning, enlarged sett served as an inspiration for yours. Bruce's kilt is actually quite old and has been passed around his family throughout the years. He has a Chattan kilt that also has a very large sett that he wears for black tie events.

    Cheers,

They are bespoke hose with coquet patterned tops from Almost Unwearoutable. I have several pairs from them too and I highly recommend them.

Also David, I see that your AUW hose in the photos above are of the steel grey colour, but I am curious what the second colour is for your coquet pattern? Are these 4 or 8 ply? I too have a pair in steel grey, but with plum as the second colour. I also have some pairs that are 4 ply and others that are 8. I tend to like the 8 ply slighter better, but hey, these are AUW hose and they are simply outstanding across the board, no matter what the sock thickness is!

    Cheers,

Thanks for your kind words. She is a great joy- sweet and wild.

    Kyle,

Thanks. They're actually the "Light Lovat" color with dark "Brown" dicing. They go really well with my Hunting MacMillan kilt in the Reproduction color scheme. They're the 8-ply.
