I keep looking in my closet and saying that I have enough kilts, but I am only kidding myself for just a brief moment and look at getting more sporrans and the like, then I will need more kilts which bring about more sporrans which bring about more kilts. It is a never ending cycle.

My wife started complaining that If I don't slow down she's going to have to start getting rid of some of her clothes because of the amount of closet space my kilt kollection is beginning to require.

Wow. My wife actually moved 50% of her stuff out of our closet and into the guest room closet. Plus, she boxed up all of my slacks and trousers, which made even more room for those kilts.

Ya know, it just dawned on me that this is one backward support group. To my reckoning, we are simply facilitating one another's obsession!

And, as with AA, we do have an equivalent of a multi-step program:

1.)See kilt
2.)Think about kilt
3.)Order kilt.

It only takes about a day or less to complete. I don't know about you all, but it feels like a positive, healthy existence to ME <g>.

Ah yes, Bubba has simplified things somewhat by adhering to a special two step program, no doubt the same one used by Bear and a few others who frequent this list.

I've been slowly building up my kilt fund and have finally decided what my next kilt purchase will be.

9 yard 16 oz heavyweight kilt Ancient Douglas tartan(pleated to sett, in my opinion the only Douglas tartan that would look good pleated to stripe is the Douglas grey), formal argyle jacket, dress sporran, waistcoat, ghillies, fly plaid, etc. In other words a kilt outfit for those formal times when I need to look sharp enough to make the lassies hearts skip a beat

It was worth a try.

Just about anything Nikon is good. We also have two pairs of binoculars which we find excellent for our birdwatching.
