    The Aussie has it. That's the one I followed to do my first conversion. I didn't do it exactly like Star did, but the narrative and photos were very helpful.

    The above threads are great and got me on my way to converting a couple of jackets. There are several more buried in the Tutorials and How To's—you just have to dig a bit. Each has a tip or trick missing from the others.

    My advice is purchase a sacrificial jacket or two from a thrift store to build your skill level before you tackle the jacket you really want to convert. At worst you're out some time and $10. At best, you just might like one of them enough to hang on to it. Good luck.
