We have enjoyed several raptor displays and centers in the UK. Highly recommend the Screech Owl Sanctuary in Cornwall! Despite their name, they house a wide range of owls and other critters too.

My sister won't thank me for this snap, but here's the level of interaction possible with these fascinating and seldom-seen creatures.

Harris hawks, the wolf-packs of the air. Love 'em!!

Still wouldn't want one around my parrot, though. . .

That is very funny. You wouldn't want your parrot around my Biscuit either, Dale

    Love the pictures!
Brings to mind visiting a bird of prey center in Germany. For the show, there is a fellow that roves the stands among the audience and calls the birds to him. It swoops in above the heads of the audience and lands on his hand, about 12 inches above the spectators head! I was not in the flight path the first time we visited, but the next time we went I made sure I was in the right spot.

No experience like an eagle with a six foot wingspan coming in on you at 30 miles per hour and zooming in right over your head! But I didn't flinch, I was confident in the eagle.

Not quite an eagle, but here's the snap I got as an owl made a similar pass.
