I think it looks great, and I have a question. Is this "new kilt" a casual cut? Here's why I ask. A few months ago I ordered a 5 yard "casual" kilt. It came with two straps instead of 3, and for my "casual cut kilt" order I measured it to be 22.5 long instead of 24.5.

I'm new to kilt wearing, but wanted to see what a "casual kilt" was like. When it arrived, and I tried it on I found out that I absolutely loved (and still do) the "casual cut". I also really like the two straps . Maybe even mor than the three. Which was the subject of a thread that I'd started to find out what other's thought of 2 straps VS. 3 straps, and Casual vs. traditional.

At the time, I was trying to get a bit of imput from the forum, to try to help me in my decision making on the casual style, and the two straps vs three straps.

I think that I thought (and think) that the casual cut was so nice because it wasn't "hip huggers" it was the "jeans cut" and so it was something that I was more used to. I liked it enough that I ordered two more in the same style but (obviously) different tartans.

SO,.... I think that your kilt looks great, and was just wandering if it was (it seems to be) a casual cut kilt.

Kilt hose:
I seem to wear my kilt hose at the same height. I watched a video on YouTube that said the kilt hose were to be 2 fingers below the knee.

I like it, and you look sharp.
