Combination of the two. As previously stated, these sporrans are only for daywear and as I only wear my kilt casually, definitely wanted something a bit non-tradtional, but still recognisable as a sporran.
It may not look it from the picture, but the second does have a more rounded bottom when I actually wear it and put stuff in it.
I'm currently sketching some designs for sporran number three which may have a more traditional look.
