    David is correct. It's a Polecat, which were primarily used for boys sporrans due to their small size. Kate Macpherson, my full-mask sporran maker, does offer this style from time to time, basically when she acquires an animal from local farmers in Inverness-shire. The fur is entirely too light to be a Scottish Pine Marten. See mine below.

    100% absolutely spot on Kyle, pine marten is dark brown with creamy coloured frontage.

    I dunno.. that fur reminds me more of a nutria

    Looks like one set of legs is a bit shorter than the other-if those are legs-haggis maybe?
