    Some pics from Celtic Fling

We went to The Celtic Fling in Manheim PA on June 23 & saw some great bands & met some interesting people . I was going to wear my Cutthroat Shamrock shirt with my kilt but found a big rip in it so I went with my USA Kilts shirt which got me a compliment from one the USAK guys . It was very humid , like jungle humid & we left a bit early when it looked like it could start pouring any second .

Rathkeltair has an amazing piper !

Albanach - who drew a big crowd

Brother who has didgeridoos & a unique sound

The Town Pants had people dancing

Enter The Haggis - I saw a girl with their logo for a tattoo

    Some creepy gnomes

We plan on going back later for Scot/Irish weekend . On a side note , this was my first time going kilted for the entire day & it was a great experience . I had more than a few compliments , although one of the nice elderly ladies who lives in my building tried to flip my kilt up !

Tasty Rabbit you left too early. It never really rained, just a one minute light drizzle and ten minutes of light sprinkles. The shows just got better. You should hear when Albannach and Brother get together as BroNach, a most unique sound. Greater than the sum of it's parts. The Ceilidh was wonderful as usual. Hope to see you at Scots/Irish weekend, the only other X-marker I ever see is Rocky.

Michele and I were there. The little bit of rain was coming down during Albannach's 3:45 show. They just kept rocking on. You could see rain bouncing up off the drumheads! We plan to be there for the RenFair Scot/Irish weekend.

We have season passes so were always there. It makes for a nice quick getaway and we can usually pick what flavor of music we want to hear since there are several stages going at any given time. It'd be great to personally meet more of the Rabble.

We did get to see Bro Nach

Here's another one from The Town Pants

    This is Ramblin Rose

It was weird , as soon as we got on the turnpike we hit a good amount of rain . It's like it followed me Next time I'm going to have to participate in some of the contests . I've never eaten a haggis or thrown a caber but I am eager to try it especially if there are prizes
