An old friend just sent me this...love the leather kilt, military sporran is a bit of overkill but it seems to work...flames are incredible....now..if he'd do a Scottish Car Wash with a lovely lass while playing and flaming.....

Great schtick, but I couldn't see sitting through a full performance. The thing I like is he seems to take his "art" seriously, but not himself. The Badpiper acts like he knows it's just a gimmick and he's going to play it to the hilt. Rock on.

    Coolest Bagpipe Player ever?

Was browsing through Yahoo news and saw this. I think he is eating too many peppers to get the drones to do this.

When you order his c.d.s or posters you can put in a message for him to write on it with his autograph . I'm wondering what kind of crazy stuff I could get him to write ???

Agreed. If I understand his backstory correctly he actually does have some pretty good piping credentials in the piping world to boot. He is an incredible musician who has found a neat gimmick and gone to town with it. Not my cup of tea for more than a few tunes but I still recognise his talent and originality.

Plus one about the pyrotechnics. They are really impressive. Imagine a while pipe band doing that!!! And drummers with those laser drumsticks. Nighttime performance.

I would pay good money to see that!

So happy that you wrote that. I already thought I'm going mad.

By the way, he also made it into a swiss tabloid.

Either way, he does have chutzpah!

He certainly has chutzpah! I have to confess, I find generally find the mournful note of bagpipes fairly irritating, but I did like the "We Will Rock You" cover.
