Wishing all a Happy Canada Day. Also it is the 231st anniversary of the repeal of the Proscription act, a great day to wear a kilt.

Happy Canada Day to everyone.
Alex... I found out 2 days ago there is a train museum in Squamish. Did you ever go there? Fantastic place. I live in Vancouver and didn't know it existed.

Aye, an honor and celebratory salute to our Canadian members and friends. Two reasons for a great day to wear a kilt -- of course, any day is a great day to wear a kilt!

No, I have not been to any railway museums in Canada. I have travelled on Via Rail from Victoria to Courtenay and saw the preserved steam logging engines at Ladysmith and Qualicum Beach, also Via Rail from Toronto to Niagara Falls.
Visited aviation museums at Comox and Victoria (Sydney) airports and also I am a life member of Canadian Warplane Heritage at Hamilton Ontario which I visited on Canada Day 2008.

Happy Canada Day to all! I was on Parliament Hill yesterday morning visiting my son at work (on parade). Before and after the parade, they were doing the sound check and run through for today's show. Although I couldn't see him from where I was sitting, astronaut/space station commander Chris Hadfield serenaded us before the "guard mount".

Happy Canada Day!
This morning I put on a Canada T-shirt and my Cape Breton tartan kilt before heading out to breakfast. One of my favorite holidays included a trip through northern Ontario including a camping stop on Maitoulin Island.
Please enjoy this video in honour of the day.
