    Yarnell Hill fire, Arizona

Hope nobody on the forum is threatened by this one. Sadly, it has already taken the life of 19 firefighters. A friend of mine (and his cat) have had to evac to shelter in Prescott. Before leaving he shared some photos, this one was taken from his house Monday afternoon.

Thoughts go out to the family and friends of the lost firefighters and those who have lost, or are in danger of losing, their homes. Arizona is flying flags at half staff until midnight July 3. . . and last I read, the fire is 0% contained.

Plus one. I heard that on the news, too. I hope that all is well with the rabble in the area.

Eternal thanks and honour to those of courage, who gave all, for a noble cause.

Condolences to their familes and those who mourn.

Thoughts go out to all involved in this devastation... God speed HotShot heros.

I have witnessed several burned out Northern/Southern Arizona areas and have never seen the level of destruction caused by this one. It burned so hot, the area is completely baron, not a stump remains. The area will be scared for generations, such a shame, it was a stunning part of Arizona.
