    A Sunday morning in the Nation's Capital-Ottawa, Ontario, Canada

    A few weeks ago I was a guest at the Changing of the Guard ceremony on Parliament Hill in Ottawa. I took some pictures and video of the ceremony and then wandered about the vicinity with the rest of the tourists. It was a nice day out. Photos to follow in next post.

    Memorial cross to the 3000 workers and their families, many of whom died by accident and disease due to horrible working conditions. My own great great grandfather Morrison succumbed to malaria working on the canal. (Sorry couldn't get the photo to rotate online.)

    Excellent pics. I took a picture of my wife with the Famous Five and she uses it when she talks about the Persons Case with her Canadian history classes.
