    Good to hear Andrew, you will get used to exposing your legs over time.

    Something Bear said once helped me, about embracing the cold, getting to enjoy it, feeling the experience. All this is much easier when kilted.

    You should be able to find some nonwool sport socks, for soccor for example, that give a similar appearance and coverage. They can be just as warm in the cold weather.
