We are not too far from this but we heard nothing about it. We will not be able to attend this year, but maybe next. Thanks for the heads-up.

What a wonderful day for the Graeme Park Celtic Heritage festival, despite the 95ºƒ temperature. For me the highlight of the day was meeting kilt maker, Bonnie Heather Green. Bonnie is truly a wonderful, gracious person as well as a talented kilt maker.
Bonnie's 'Kilt Making' display with X Marks 'Kilted Juggler' and my wife hiding from the camera.

Bonnie and me in front of her display.

Bonnie & me with my new kilt (almost done). OK, my secret 'Jonsen' is out; it's a 16 oz, wool, Lochcarron Strome, Fraser of Lovat (my clan) and I can't wait but, I will,,, because,,, all good things in their time!

OK, all that said, Bonnie had a Stewart kilt (my wife's clan) that she made for a client who ended up not taking it; well... it fit my wife, Susan, to a 'T'. So... we now have two Bonnie Heater Green kilts. (pictures will be forthcoming)

Simon Fraser fought as MacShimidh, a Highland chief… wrapped and belted in a plaid over the top of his linen shirt, like his ordinary kinsmen. He put a bonnet on his head, and stuck the Fraser emblem, a sprig of yew, in it. With the battle cry, A'Chaisteal Dhunaidh and the scream of the pipes, they charged to battle.
