Tartan Identity (if possible)

Friend sent this photo to me, asking if I had any clue
I don't.. and haven't been able to find it.

Starting to wonder if it's not even a 'real' tartan

Anyone have any ideas?

It's a version/error of Dress Culloden in which the purple of the warp has been rendered as blue in the weft or vice versa. It's not usual to weave this sett with differing warp and weft shades so whether by design or error I'd classify it as a trade anomaly.

I thought it was possibly an off shoot Culloden, but then sometime's there's one that's similar to another.

So many out there, hard to know them all
