I think if you want to wear a kilt up a ladder, you ought to. People have free will and can choose to look or not look. There's always a lassie on the escalater at the mall doing the same thing, and she never gets in trouble.

Beverlonian, I think it's supposed to be "mers eysk ill train" but don't ask me what that means (some kind of rail transportation, I think).

I do have a black apron now, but only use it around the place here.

Have you thought about maybe a heavy leather apron maybe something like a welders apron? it would be heavy enough to keep a kilt down and at the same time protect the kilt. I have thought about them a couple of times. as i used to wear one while welding some.

Bit heavy for the work I do, I'll try the cotton apron for a while, see how long it lasts.

Great job Graham! You may not have any Lassies there but you are Kilted. I have found that working at sea in my Kilt is only good on a very few days when there is no wind and the work is light duty. So I am jelous of you and all the Kilting you get to do.
