Hey epscot, I heard about some groups that were masquerading as Scottish book vendors and ending up handing out neo-nazi propoganda. Was this the same encounter you had? The organizer of the event that I heard about didnt know until after the fact and sent out a huge apology letter to all other vendors and Clans and such. If I had seen that happening at an event I was at there may have been serious trouble.

Also guys I was checking our site stats a while back and saw that someone had posted a link to this site from a neo-nazi forum. I couldnt see the post b/c it was in a protected forum and I wasnt about to register. Needless to say I was extremely upset.

Without turning this into a religious thread (which we all know are not allowed on this forum b/c of the heated arguments that ensue from them) let me say that it sickens me to the core to think that those people (white supremicists) use Christianity to defend themselves. It really gives the Christians with pure hearts bad name. A pox on the neo-nazis! I must go wretch now...

Hank, I do somewhat recall that. It was relevant to the subject under discussion at the time and was posted with proper warning as to content. It wasn't promotional at all, in fact, it was the opposite.

The Hate Group are taking advantage people who are starting to be proud of their Scottish/Celtic Hertiage and use the opportunity to feed them the flith about racisms and that White culture is better than other.

I have found that if one takes a look at the true basis of all of the major religions, one will find that compassion at the centre.

It is another travisty that the nazi's took the Buddhist symbol and used for their evil deeds.

Then again, I hope people are going to associate Black Kilts with Nazis. It took Doc Maten years to shake that image off.

As I said in an earlier thread "Shoes" I love DM's but would never buy a pair before because of the image they gave .However I will be buying a pair soon.

From what I've seen, I don't know how Doc Martens got that association. Mostly the skinheads I've seen wear surplus military combat boots or steel toed work boots with some wearing engineer boots.

In my case Bubba I think my problem with DM's started in school. We had our fair share of Skinheads there all in Ben Shermans and calf length DM's. I'm not sure if it started in England . I just know that is where my problem with their image began.

They no longer seem to have that now. I'm older, and a non UK resident. That helps.
