Au contraire, speaking quite figuratively, I assure you, quite figuratively. Others before me were perhaps a touch more abstemious than they needed. The nett effect was a healthy draught to seal the few words with which I wished the Quaich a Bon Voyage II!

Well, the famous world-trotting Quaich made another stop today, at Keltoi with John - Slohairt. Two friends of mine travelled with me to order kilts... and to meet the Quaich!

Thanks John, for your kind welcome and looking forward to your skilled production!

By the way, for those who are eagle-eyed, yes, we did make a minor error.

    That's either:
Forgot the fillings... or held it with the XMTS badge upside down!

Regardless, it's the next step on a voyage that many of us will be watching -- thanks for the update!

I'm sorry that I did not have my camera for the kick off of the Quest of The Quaich II.

We held a Kilt Night at Kilt Kamp on Wed. the 31st of July.

In attendance were all the kiltmakers.

I gave a short explanation of the Quaich. Why it exists and what its mission is. "Travelling to share our love of the kilt with the world".

I was, of course, wearing my X Marks Tartan kilt.

The Quaich's log book were passed around for signatures.

And then a wee dram was shared among all.

Of course as the Quaich reached our honored guest Grizziled Ian he was required to finish it.

And a photo showing all the attendees at Kilt Kamp was included in the logbook as it's first souvenir.

Oh, the X-Marks badge upside down. For a second there, I thought you just tipped the contents over the carpet. Phew!
Seriously, thank you for bringing the Quaich Steve, that we had the privilege of starting this circumnavigation. I am looking forward to Fr Bill's reporting of its activities over the next few weeks.

    Steve,
The first three photos are not showing up. I'm getting a Photobucket icon that says the image was moved or deleted. Is it just me or are others also getting this icon?
