About color Pallets adn custom weaves

I was looking through some tartans on the STR and STA and started thinking; can any tartan be converted to the various pallets (weathered, ancient, and so on)? I was just wondering because I have been wanting a kilt in the clergy tartan, but I was thinking that a Clergy Green would be very interesting in a weathered pallet. If I am correct it would be subtle tones of grey with brown pinstripes. But I know that I have never found a Clergy Weathered or reproduction offered anywhere. So can any tartan be produced thus?

For some fair approximations of what you are looking for, try the "Find" feature, at the top-right of the D.C. Dalgliesh web site. Type in "clergy" in the "Find" box, and check out some of the "View" links on the results page.

Specifically, here's the Clergy Reproduction: http://www.dcdalgliesh.co.uk/tartan_found.rpy?id=433719
