Yes but being a Bristolian many of my forbears left these native shores on an all inclusive package holiday. There they came upon shorts worn by the locals and brought back that culture to Bristol. It was quickly adopted by the East Knowle massive and has been assimilated in to popular day wear. Just walking down the high st in Bedminster you will hear locals greet each other with a cheery " alright my cocker?" and a merry " how bist my lover? "

Oh yes I can! I am entitled to! I know my rights you know! I saw Bristol on the map once, so I can do anything I want------like wearing long shorts with the hem an inch above the ankle. I don't care if that is not how its done, I know my rights there are no rules and I am damn well going to wear my shorts anyway and anywhere I like! So there!!!


Oh and besides my Great, great , great,great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great ,great, great, great, great,great,great,great,great, great, great,great,great,great,great,great,great,great grand father visited there with the Roman fleet, so you can tell me nothing about Bristol and their language and traditions. So yah bo sucks to you, and you know nothing! Even if you were born there and have lived there most of your life.
