Forgot to add my favourite series: Disc World by Terry Prachett. I'm up to book 20 now... always an enjoyable journey to that world. Hilarious, well written and amazing plot arcs.

If you cannot fix it, mess it up so bad that no one else can either.

http://www.amazon.com/The-Pebble-Sho...ds=pebble+shoe This one to try to get past my pipe competition nerves

And on my Audible App on my Kindle, currently listening to all of Patrick Taylor's stuff. Mostly it takes place in north Ireland, in County Down, the same general geographical area as where my grandmother lives (Donegal near Loch Swilly). It's a good dose of Irish culture and history with a wee bit O' heathcare history thrown in, so. I spend a lot of time in the car, so the narrator Taylor uses for the audio versions keeps me company, and brings his stories to life.

I'm reading The Steel Bonnets by George M Fraser. Difficult to follow with all the names and the jumping back and forth in time but certainly gives quite a picture of the border reivers.

Matthew Gregory Lewis' "The Monk" - incredibly modern for a novel written in the 1790s.
I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.
