I had a triumph GT as a young man and found out why the Brittish don't make VCRs..... They haven't figured out how to make them leak oil yet they do look GREAT don't they.

Driving home this evening in my Jag I pulled up next to a very nice Spitfire of about the same vintage. I'm sure the Spitfire driver thought I was insane. I was looking over at his car and laughing.

Just one of those times when an image passes through your mind that catches you as funny.

All I could think was that I didn't really need a spare tire in my trunk. I could probably fit the Spitfire in there and use it as a spare if I got a flat.

The Spitfire Driver would have been right, Steve!

The Spitfires are indeed small. In getting out I can literally place my hand out on the ground.

Probably not, Holcombe as I'm the Clan Convener for MacCallum Malcolm. Just can't haul all I need in that roadster! But there is a definite possibility that 'MacSpitie' will be at the Central Virginia Celtic Festival and Highland Games on Saturday, 10/19.
