    A waste of money?

Today i informed my wife of my plan to buy another kilt.
She said, what will happen when i don't want to wear kilts any more? what about all the money I've spent?

I thought about that a while. Sure I cannot think of why I would want to stop wearing kilts, and sure I've spent a lot of money. I tallied up about $2000 since my first fix of kilting

But this made me think about the commitment kilting is in every way, financial, emotional, social...there's a lot to it isn't there!

Graham, the simple response to that is why would you want to wear less comfortable clothes. I noted it was phrased as "when" and I'd say it'll happen when a pigs get doctorates I'll not wear kilts anymore.

Ok Graham I have to say .
The comment from your wife sounds like you've spent money on things before. They don't have to be clothing. But a hobby which was maybe flavour of the mounth. You had a huge outlay of funds and gave-up.She maybe has the idea that kilts and kilting will end the same way as a hobby you tried. This is all of course speculation on my part.

You'll have to show her how much this means to you.Health wise financially, socially, and emotionally.I feel she's just waiting for the day you wake-up and put on trousers
    All the Best.....David.

Ah David, I perceive that you are a man of wisdom and learning in the strange and mysterious ways of the fairer sex.

Yes, I have always had ideas, projects, quests that have all involved spending.

However, though this may apprear immodest, I have to say that most projects i embark on are successful, with only a few exceptions.

My lovely wife is going to have to face the inevitable truth - I'm always right!!!

but there are three great adventures I have embarked on in my life:

    1. Committing my life to Jesus Christ
    2. marrying my wife
    3. committing to a healthy vegetarian diet
    4. discovering the beauty of celtic music
    5. discovering the freedom of wearing kilts

My next project is to learn to count to five

I doubt that you will give up wearing kilt because I don't think you have any desire to wear pants again.

I just been given the OK from my wife to buy another kilt. She has accepted that I wear a kilt often enought to justify buying a TFCK The only problem is money . So Graham if you have it spend it and enjoy your "Hobby"
    HAPPY KILTING
    DANEEL
