I bought some lovat blue hose (on sale for half off!) and a pair of traditional garters, also in lovat blue, but not quite the same shade so I won't be wearing both together. My son's searched the store for clan Keith related things but there was not much there. I was also disappointed that they didn't have more buckles (and also other items were limited). I was assured they could order anything I wanted, but I can do that myself, so I contented myself with what I found.
Shaun; I imagine it is still raining. They were predicting thundershowers for all this week. The sad part, it all that moister is coming from the gulf, and Texas isn't getting any of it.

Glad you made it to the STM. I managed a repeat visit in late June, though I was also a bit pressed for time. A great resource and a wonderful place to visit.

BD, glad to see you make it there. Certainly, I have purchased plenty from the gift shop, myself. I hope to visit someday, also.

The closest I ever got was the times I visited my Mom, when she lived near Grandfather Mountain, and I attended the Games there.
I envy your visit! One I'm not likely to do, now that my Mom has moved back to West Virginia.
In my mind I imagine the Museum having a glass display case full of lovely Britt sporrans and the like...

I live about an hour and a half east of Franklin. All this rain is definitely unusual. It's raining pretty hard right now, and up until a few days ago, we had 21 days in a row with rain. It has pulled all 100 counties of NC out of the drought, filled the lakes nicely, and provided extra work for grass-mowing services. If it weren't for brief stretches of hot, it'd almost be like Scotland weather.

Glad you and the family made it back without webbed feet. Jeanie and I will be heading out Saturday for our trip to the Clan Donnachaidh gathering in Scotland. To celebrate Jeanie got a new Tartan skirt and I got a new kilt in the Robertson family tartan.

Your wife emailed me that you had gotten a new kilt and her a skirt. Hope y'all have a great time in Scotland. At least you won't get lost in that bright red tartan...LOL
I gave her a list of places you should go if you can. If she didn't tell you, ask to see the email. We will be expecting pictures when you return.
