I remember seeing one full-face which used two of the legs and a bit of the tail instead of horse-hair or leather fringe tassles that looked ok. Wasn't from a large tailed critter, though. For the life of me, I wish I took a photo. The ONE time the feet and tail was used on a sporran that looked nice, and I didn't have a camera...

I agree that this particular sporran is way over the top in relation to full mask sporrans, however well known sporranmaker Kate MacPherson does a fine job on full mask sporrans, often using the front legs. I am sure that Kyle will pop in at some stage to show his magnificent specimens
