    Explaining my absence...

I see that the last time I was here was 3-12-13 @ 11:09 pm Yes, I've been naughty .

In March of 2012, I bought a puppet at a Santa event in Santa Claus Indiana, made a kilt for it and went to the Smoky Mountains Highland Games with him, William "Willie" Angus Wallace, finished an online ventriloquist course in July, went to a ventriloquist convention (wore a different kilt each day) later in July, went to a children and family (ventriloquism and magic) entertainers conference (again with a different kilt each day) in August where I got a moose puppet, Maxillian "Max" who wants to join Santa's reindeer team. I did the same convention and conference again this July and August. Terry Fator and Jeff Dunham both did instructional sessions at the vent convention near Cincinnati with Terry doing his road show for the public and us in an historic theater in downtown Cincinnati.

So instead of being online every day with XMarks the Scot and a Santa forum, Ive been online daily with ventriloquist and magicians. I'm now into doing both vent and magic.

Today I returned to XMarks to let Mael Coluim know I'll be missing the VA Scottish Games this weekend (I've been there the last 3 or 4 years) and to explain my absence from XMarks. I've missed being here, but I been busy learning new skills. I wear my kilts both casually and formally. My X Marks the Scot T-Shirt with my XMarks tartan Freedom kilt, my USA Kilts Batley Maple Leaf with fall colored polo shirts, my Wallace, Isle of Skye, or Stewart Royal USA Casual kilts with "Kilts are for Guys With Ugly Legs" or a Scottish Games T-Shirt, Claus of the North Pole kilt with Clan Claus Society events and my family Wallace Keltoi kilt with my Prince Charlie for Valentines Day.

In just over two months, I'll be busy again as Santa in Texas. Before then, I'll try to drop in to check things out from time to time .

We kind of expect Santas to be fairly dormant in the summer months!

Go with the flow and have fun with it.
I used to juggle and spent quite a few years preforming with my girlfriend as "The flying debris" (our card said "We'll throw up for every occasion") God, it is hard to write that but it is true and we had a blast. the stateline casinos would pay us well for 5 minute shows. I can still wow some with juggling but I am afraid I am past middle age and walking slack ropes might be tricky.

I don't know about the good boy part, but you've certainly been a lucky boy, getting your Spitfire. I loved the MG's, Spitfires and Triumph TR3's and 4's when I was in college. I really wanted anyone of them when I had my Honda 150 Dream on campus.

Have a GREAT time at the VA Games, I really enjoyed seeing your photos from last year.

PS: I enjoyed being on XMarks today for a while, found out how much I've missed it.

Wally... sounds like you've been busy. I hope you have the success that Terry Fator did and look forward to voting for you on "America's got Talent" in the future, (although as a Canadian I don't think I can.)

    Cheers from "Santa" Bill
