    Bugpiper's ex-army kiltmaker

Does anyone know who the ex army kiltmaker is who used to make Bugpiper's replica army kilts on ebay? I bought a couple from him and one needs letting out, but as he's sadly no longer with us I'd like to have this kiltmaker do the work for me. I may be answering my own question here but he used to have a link to Kintail kilts and bagpipes on his personal web site and they boast an ex army master kiltmaker, so could it have been him?

Freddie, maybe George McKay could help you out. Here's his website, just in case you want to try him. I've heard some very good things about his work. Mind you, I think my magic kiltmaker (Paul Henry) should be able to help you too, even though he's not ex Army! I'm sorry, I don't know who used to work with Steve (Bugpiper).

Morris, David is right if you can't find the original maker, Paul would definitely be able to help.

I've wondered the same thing. The kilts Steve/Bugpiper sold appeared to be perfect Army kilts, with the black two-prong buckles, green binding, high rise, and so forth.
