New member in NC
Hello... I am new to this forum, and to Kilts having worn my first one last weekend. If I did it right, it should be pictured here with the kind lady Jenni from Custom Celtic Kilts that worked through the night to correct an issue with the order. The group order went in and my measurements were sent in wrong. Its all fixed so all is good. I also have my new Sporran custom made by Ewan at Custom Celtic Leathers.
It is the Tartan for my favorite Celtic Band, The Rogues, registered as 10749 The Rogues (United States) in The Scottish Registry of Tartans. It is an House of Edgar Kilt, not sure on all the other specifics, still learning but it a heavy wool (16oz) and I think they said pleated on the red, if that helps anyone.
I look forward to learning more about Kilts and adding to my collection. Still want a Clan Tartan, sub sect Ritchie Clan Mackintosh.
If the picture works, it was taken on the second day of the Maryland Renaissance Festival opening weekend. If not I will try to post it later once I learn how.
Thanks everyone for all the great reading. I have been poking around in the forums for a couple of days..
Brian...

Thanks guys for the welcome... Good to see some fellow NC boys in the mix, but we look pretty spread out, so having a meet up somewhere could prove problematic. I will be in Charlotte May 30th-June 1st working security for Concarolinas, a local Sci-Fi/Fantasy convention. I am going to try to arrive on May 29th, and while I am in town would love to hit the Tilted Kilt in Matthews NC, Kilted up... As it gets closer we will have to see what we can do about that...
Thanks again everyone for the warm welcome, from all parts of the world...
