That's precisely why I decided to make my first X-kilt. The instructions allow you the option to make the front apron any width you wish. If you're able to make the kilt, the modesty feature should be a SNAP . . . sorry.

It happened to me in a 'What Price Glory' 22oz Gordon Highlander. So the answer is YES!
BTW how are things in The Twin Cities? We come over every year and hope to be there again next May.

It's finally starting to cool down in the Twin Cities after temps in the 90s the last couple of weeks, but, all in all, a marvelous summer.

Speaking of Marilyn moments, just attended the Highland Games in Waukesha, Wisconsin this weekend. Fairgrounds were hit by 60 mph winds Friday afternoon and more than kilts were flying. (There aren't enough beer cans in the world to hold down a kilt in that kind of weather.) We pieced everything back together and things were back to semi-normal by the opening ceremonies that evening.

If you really want a test of your kilt's "stay down-ability", come to Chicago and cross the Michigan Avenue Bridge....THAT is the true test. When Tom Hay was in town for the Welsh Rugby Scarf tour a while back, we crossed over the MAB while a small snowstorm was blowing up...let's say it was slightly nerve wracking.
