Thanks again guys for your continuing support. As I have said before I have no problems in wearing my kilt away from home and like Rigged I have had the odd negative remark when someone has passed me in the street and shouts from cars, but thats par for the course and it does'nt bother me whatsoever. Similarly as Freelander mentioned as to what the older people may have thought about me to themselves after they left Thurs morning ... to be honest I don't care .. now that they have seen me in my kilt its up to them to lump it or like it. Its just that first hurdle I must get over. I'm trying my best at present to shrug off this local/on my doorstep hangup that I seem to have. I think I'm winning.... albeit slowly.
Ham ... were looking forward to London and no, I have never worn my kilt in London so that will be a first.
Blu ... As it happens one of the local churches is having a bank holiday fayre on Sat. I intend wearing my kilt and I will make that my project and will take some pictures.
Pity you were all not living closer .. I'd buy you all a pint of Brains SA bitter.... cracking Welsh Beer. Derek
