Spanx... who's tried them?
So 2 of my kilts are fitting rather snug, this cuts in 50%.
Was thinking of trying a Spanx.
Anyone have any feedback before the possible frivolous purchase of one... they aren't that cheap.
And just the top is an option, no way will I wiggle into briefs.
Thanks

Is that akin to squeezing the toothpaste tube in the middle?

If I had tried them, I wouldn't admit it in public.
I did have to take off a few pounds to make the oldest one fit, though.

I use spanx under my dancing kilt... not the most comfortable to wear longer than a couple of hours. Why not try a pair of compression running shorts (same concept as spanx but made to at least wear for a longer period.) If you are male, be aware that your dangly bits may not be as comfortable in spanx as you imagine... at least male running compression shorts are made with the dangly bits in mind.

Okay....as bluebonnet pointed out, might be a little uncomfortable...regular athletic compression gear may help...until that rigorous physical regimen that you are undoubtedly engaged in to slim down takes hold (), maybe you try kilt extender straps? Very obtainable and probably cheaper than spanx. If it's a lost cause, consider moving the straps....search the forum for more info on that.
Otherwise, sit on the big exercise ball, hold a medicine ball out at arms' length and do the twist...great core exercise.

I'm not certain, but there are Spanx made for men - which are compression t-shirts, and not hosiery like the Spanx for women. No dangly bits involved!

Try a Japanese Haramaki. They are breathable, give you back support and warm your core for Winter, (they really do help with circulation) you'll sweat like a mad-man in spanx and it will turn you all red about the middle like this :butt: he~he!

Yes, like Andrew said... the t-shirt version.
The kilts in question fit but on the last strap notch.
I have a lil' divit just below the belt, the Sporran covers it up a bit, so its only semi noticeable.
Maybe I'm just being a bit vain?
