I believe that it is "Kilkenny Castle" rather than "Glenbogle" which is up for sale.

Kilkenny Castle is in Ireland - I think you mean "Kilwillie Castle."

My wife and I bought the complete DVD set and have watched the series three times (so far). We also sent sets to my brother and to a good friend, both of whom enjoyed them very much.

The Glenbogle House (aka Ardverikie Estate) cannot have been sold, because I have it under contract. I sent the current owners 100 Yankee dollars and have until the end of the calendar year to raise the $18M necessary to move in. I'm working on it. I have our trailer up for sale.
I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.

Right you are, Simon! I've been there many times and I know the owners quite well. As is the case with the Ardverikie Estate ("Glenbogle House"), Balavil House is nestled on traditional Clan Macpherson lands. Another rather important Macpherson home, located not too far from both Ardverikie and Balavil, is Cluny Castle in Laggan, which along with Balavil, is also for sale. Oh, if I only had the available funds!
