    Rourke-Frew Hunting design hints

Greetings...I am looking for a vote between three colours of Hunting tartan that I have designed using the sett and some of the colours of theRourke-Frew (Ontario) tartan. Attached are pictures of the contenders...I would really appreciate your thoughts on these. 1.) Click image for larger version.

No3 for my money. The colours nicely balance each other and the individual stripes and ground tones stand out well.

Though there may be little or no historical basis for it, "hunting" to me means woodsy/fall colors. Thus, #3 comes closest to that for me. #2 is "woodsy", but perhaps late-summer woodsy.
I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.
