The London Scottish Regimental Museum
I've been away from the forum because I was on a trip to London.
I'm not gonna bother you with a long story but:
I really wanted to thank Stuart (Lon Scot Reg Secretary) for the nice welcome and the brilliant tour through the Museum of the London Scottish Regiment. My mother an I enjoyed the visit very much and would like to thank you again.
And since it didn't happen without a picture:
Stuart, myself (the short one)
and in the background
Honorary Regimental Colonel George Robertson, Baron Robertson of Port Ellen
in the regiments own Hodden Grey Tartan.

I read about the London Scottish Regiment on this forum and did some research. Best thing is to check out the website:
The London Scottish Regimental Museum is located on the two balconies in the drill hall at Regimental Headquarters, 95 Horseferry Road, London.
I hope that helps.
We really enjoyed the visit.

Now when I was there a couple of years ago, I found many small regimental museums, this was not one of them. I guess now I have an excuse to go back, although there are other places on the travel list first.
