Thanks for that Kyle, I thought it was; that is certainly well worn but looks good.

Despite my humility, I will say that you may be right, David...especially in regards to the bit about Stephanie! Hahahaha!!!

Interesting range of kilted attire, from Duncan's daily casual look to Hector and others at clan events. Great scenery!
I completely agree. The episode with Hector and Sharon (Lord Kilwillie) and the old, and quite rare, Lagganmore cask is my absolute favourite! Bloody hiliarious!

Watched the first two episodes last night with my wife and daughter. I was about to start in on the third ep but my daughter was tired and wanted to go to bed and she forbade me from watching any more without her. Guess we have a new thing to watch!

I love Monarch of the Glen. Our local library has the whole series on DVD ... probably chosen by one of librarians, Sheila, who is from Scotland.

Yes. Richard Briers was a great actor. Hector was my favourite of the MacDonalds, although Golly is a close second. He's a good-ol'-boy.

Know this phenomena well....fortunately, we got through the entire series before my daughter left for college...now we have to cool it on Hell On Wheels episodes and reruns of Chicago Hope until the dear girl rejoins us for school breaks.
And....I've said it before....the two people who finally convinced me to get a kilt were Duncan (Hamish Clark) because he just made it look like something that you could wear every day and it would look good and Samuel L. Jackson, who wore one in a movie and then continued wearing it for several months after....just figgered if SLJ could get away with it, I could as well.
Best

Aww yes, Formula 51, in which Jackson co-starred with Meat Loaf and Robert Carlyle. Entertaining movie!
