... and it's on its way! I have a new host arranged.
I've wrapped the Quaich very carefully,
and added an explanation with the hope that customs and post office officials won't unwrap it and wreck the careful packaging
and I've added two address labels of my own in case the postal stuff comes un-stuck
(Of course I covered them up for the pictures because it IS a secret!
Thanks to the new host, and my apologies to those who initially expressed interest. Once you find out where it is in this thread, you can contact that individual to get into the queue.
I'm looking forward to seeing the next set of pictures and hearing the story!

Well, the Quaich arrived well packaged and safe in Indian Country yesterday. I've been enduring the ravages of a head cold so not quite out and about with it yet. But soon.

Did customs open it up or was the story on the outside enough to dissuade them?

Was still wrapped tight when it arrived. I saved the print out to include when I send it on so if someone else needs to ship it across International borders it can be reused. Well done.

Perhaps a laminated placard to be attached to the outside of the package in the future would be a good idea? Father Bill's printout is just right--succinct and informative.
A wonderful story, padre, and (as others have said) well worth the wait. Beat wishes to the happy couple.
Ron- I look forward to reading your posts about the quaich.
