I'll agree 100% with the statement that Bear's pleats don't wander. I wore my 4-yard Bear kilt in the harshest conditions for five months, and never had to iron the pleats. At first I thought I had to, and was worried about them. No problems. Every time they started getting a little "soft" (from constant wear in humid conditions), the next time the kilt got wet the pleats returned to where they were supposed to be. No curling, no losing the pleats. I have a Sport Kilt as well which I wore on a two-week hike. After that it might as well have never had pleats. Now I won't even wear the SK anymore because I know how terrible it is in comparison.

Now I just have to wait for the 8-yard kilt I ordered from Bear since my 4-yard one is pretty worn....
