    Before doing the pleat cut-outs on a Fraser kilt

    Just before doing the pleat cut-outs on the Red Fraser kilt I'm working on, I couldn't resist taking a moment to enjoy the visual delight of seeing the loops of red. They had the look of an Elizabethan ruff, especially with the light coming through from behind.

    I know what you mean Bonnie. We spend an aweful lot of time with the tartan.
    It is nice just to stop and admire it once in awhile.
    Sometimes I feel like it is a "living"being when I start and "tame it" after having pulled and stretched and flipped it back and forth for hours.
