I have a bit of the opposite... there are events I would like to wear a kilt to, but I would get the rolling eyes from my wife. She only accepts it if the event is overtly Scottish, such as the recent Black Watch concert.

Looks like a great time was had.
And the size doesn't matter.

A few guys in kilts can have as much fun as many can.
And as for a 'serviceable' SD, every time I wear mine I've had to use it - opening food packaging, cutting tags of purchases, etc.

Yeah, he's stealthily dignified. As in, insists he's an obnoxious, overgrown child, and yet is, in reality, always in possession of himself. Still tries to brush it aside that that's one of the reasons I married him! I knew he'd look fabulous in it & wear it well -one of the reasons I kept trying to make him wear one!
